Where I am from, people seem to think that here in Arizona we are surrounded by big spiders, scorpions and angry looking snakes all the time. That's what I thought when I moved here too. And even though they ARE probably surrounding us right now, I did not SEE them yet...(and I reeeaaallly hope it can stay that way). What I do see on a daily basis are much cuter (looking) beasts. We have, for example, a lot of squirrels (they are not as cute as they look though, messing up our landscaping and making our pool into a burial site, since they apparently can't swim...), lizards (look like little dragons sometimes, can't swim either by the way), roadrunners (I was disappointed they aren't blue at all...), beautiful hummingbirds and even a daytime coyote every now and then!

Today I tried to capture them for you (apologies for the bad quality of the Coyote photo, it was taken with my mobile phone). And I promise that whenever I see a more dangerous one, I will let you know...
